Filtering Systems

Straining the WVO:

You'll first need to strain out the oil, then pass it through several Stages of filtering & also dewater first. Then it can be pumped through a 10 Micron Fuel Pump Filter & directly into our BELIZEL Tank.

Straining Systems:

4 Liter Kitchen Strainer System $25.00

The perfect size for your Kitchen countertop next to your stove. With a washable plastic strainer & a lid, this is a great little strainer for your vegetable oils & bacon grease. The plastic strainer will filter out the main chunks & then allow you to store it until you have enough to pour into the 5 gallon Filtering System or 55 Gallon Filter System. Comes with 4 Liter bucket with lid & plastic strainer. Colors vary (sorry, no choices!)

6-Pak Cloth Straining Filters for 4 liter strainer $7.00

5 Gal. Bucket Strainer System $30.00

Contains a 5 gallon bucket & a plastic strainer. Perfect for small amounts up to 4-5 gallons. Used in restaurants direct from the fryer. Washable plastic strainer. Can be lined with cloth filter for even better first time strainer for hot or warm oils. After you pour the warm oil through the plastic filter, it still needs to be filtered with our 5 gallon Filtering System (below) or our 55 gallon Filtering System. This only strains out the larger chunks & doest remove any of the fine sediment. That gets removed by our Filtering Systems.  (Bucket does not come with a lid)

Colors vary (sorry, no choices!)

6-Pak Cloth Straining Filters for 5 gal bucket $10.00

"Tubby" Straining & Pre-Filtering Drum $125

A drum cut down to hold about 35-40 gallons & a drain outfitted at the 5 gallon line. This is used for straining the WVO through a cloth filter after you bring it home from the restaurant. It is cut short, so it's easy to put up on two cement blocks & you can then place a 5 gallon pail with our Stage 1 Filtering Lid under it's drain or a 5 gallon water container. This doesn't make it too tall, & it's easy to pour in the strained WVO right from the restaurant gathering bucket.

Comes with lid, drain, strap, double layer of cloth sheets & wooden frame with wire support to fit the drum.

6 Pak Cloth Straining Sheets for 55 gal. Drums & Tubby  $15.

Filtering the WVO:

Stage 1 Filter for 5 Gallon Bucket    $100.

This includes one (1) 5 gallon pail, & a lid with a 30 micron filter attached & a drain attached near the bottom.

After you strain the WVO thru our plastic strainers & then put it through "Tubby", you drain it into this. It then passes into our 30 Micron Stage 1 Filtering Lid.

Then you'll pour it through our Stage 2 Filter into a 55 Gallon Drum.

NOTE: The lid may not make a tight fit with the bucket. It doesn't have too, it just needs to sit on top of the bucket while it's filtering. This Filtering Lid needs to be protected from the weather (i.e. rain!) at all times. Getting it wet will greatly reduce the amount of usable filtering time and could contaminate the WVO.

Also, if you have a water container (i.e. Crystal) you can fill it from Tubby & then place it upside down on this & it will bubble drain, so there is no over flow & spillage! Also you don't need to be there when it filters your WVO! (NOTE: 5 gallon water container not included)

Replacement 30 Micron Filter $75.

When the filter eventually slows way down or clogs, place it in boiling water for a few minutes & then pour boiling water through it to removes the animal fats & gunk that's clogging it. Then dump this gunk out & place it in the sun to dry out. After it dries out it will continue to filter. After awhile you will need to replace it. Then you simply unscrew it, scrape away the silicone seal, & screw on a new replacement filter. One filter should last you for several hundred gallons of WVO.

Stage 2 Filter  with Spin On Filter for Pumps $175.

After the WVO passes through our Stage 1 Filter & settles out in another 55 Gallon Drum (let it settle out for several days (or more - the longer the better!) before pumping it through this 10 micron Stage 2 Filter.

This is the same filter we use with our BELIZEL Conversion Systems. Here you attach it to a pump on one of the 55 gallon drums to filter your VO down to 10 Microns. It comes with 5/8" hose barbs to be attached to the hose on your fuel dispensing pump.

Replacement Spin On 10 Micron VO Fuel Filter $35.

We searched for the best diesel & WVO filter we could find some time ago, & were very happy when we found it was also available in Belize! I've been using Goldenrod filters for almost 8 years now, & have nothing but praise for them. I keep it the same in the filtering stages & in our BELIZEL Conversion System, so you don't have to run around trying to find which spin on filter goes to which filtering system.

55 Gallon Drums $75.

We try to keep black, blue & white ones in stock. Some have double 2" bung holes while some have removable tops with straps. All have been washed, but will still need more cleaning to make them usable. Contact us for availability & lid type.

Misting Nozzle for 3/4" Garden Hose Thread $TBA

Pumps:

You'll need a Stage 2 Fuel Pump Filter attached to these pumps BEFORE it gets pumped into our BELIZEL Tanks.

Good Rotary H& Fuel Pump $75.

This heavy duty, all metal pump dispenses fuel oil, lubricating liquids, vegetable cooking oil (WVO/SVO) & other non-corrosive liquids from 55 gallon barrels & drums. It is self priming, & delivers an efficient 6GPM & comes with an adjustable 2" bung adapter. It is not suitable for water or corrosive liquids. It will work for VO, but over time it may corrode, especially if left outside in the weather.

It is important to note that this pump doesn't make a watertight or airtight seal on the drum. It would need to be removed after each use or kept in the garage or under zinc to keep water from entering the WVO in the barrel. You could make a rubber gasket, but it's best if you keep this one under a roof or remove it after each use.

It is the least expensive pump that we sell & it will provide you with very adequate service for quite some time. It is heavy duty, & very durable. Our Stage 2 Filter would need to be attached to this pump before the VO can be pumped into our BELIZEL Tanks. A hose can be attached via hose clamps to the spigot & then adding our Stage 2 Filter to the hose.

Better H& Lever Barrel Pump (for 5-55 gal. Drums)$150.

This is a good little pump for either 55 gallon Drums or 5 Gallon Pails. It is much better than our least expensive pump & if you can afford it, it is money well spent. It threads on the bung hole & has an adjustable suction rod, uses Viton seals & a Steel Rod encased in a Polypropylene Housing. It delivers 9 oz per stroke.

It's ideal for SVO/WVO, Water, Alcohol, Diesel, Kerosene & other Petroleum Products. A flexible plastic hose/tubing can be fitted to pump with a stainless steel hose clamp to extend the reach or use with a longer hose to fill up your BELIZEL Tank (not included). Our Stage 2 Filter would need to be attached to this pump before the VO can be pumped into our BELIZEL Tanks.

NOTE: On some 55 gallon drums, you may have to trim/grind back part of the lower bottom of the pump, or modify the lip of the bung hole so the pump can reach the threads.

12Volt DC Electric Fuel Pump $1000.

If you want the convenience of a self powered electrical pump, this is a great one. It plugs onto the battery of your car or truck & transfers the VO at a 3.5 GPM. This is what I used to pump from the 55 gallon drums at the larger restaurants & hotels. Comes with 50' of hose & ready to take on the road to pump WVO. Comes with two 5 gallon buckets for containing the hoses & pump, making it easy to travel with. Simply connect the pump, pump the WVO, disconnect the pump from the hose, & coil them back inside the buckets & you're good to go!

Centrifuge Filter & Dewaterer $TBA.

This is the supreme method to clean, filter & remove the water from WVO. No filters to replace, just wipe out the tub clean when done & it's ready for the next batch. If you are cleaning lots of WVO, this is the way to go! The fastest & best way to clean WVO! Normally, these are very, very expensive, & can cost from $25,000 to $100,000 BZD! We are working on one that will bring the cost way down to under $5,000 BZD. We have a working prototype that we are tweaking right now to make it more efficient & affordable.

We'll be posting the information here real soon now!
