10 Acres of planted Teak trees with maintenance for the first three (3) years. These years are the most critical to ensue healthy trees and for you to get a better return on your investment. You will have Title to this land (it is called a Deed of Conveyance in Belize) and it can be in your new Belizean Corporation’s name or your own.
A
Belizean Corporation in the name of your choice. You will have full control over
this Corporation and after it is setup, you can run it however you like. (Some
investors will use it just for selling their teak, while others may start other
ventures here in Belize with it.)
A thatched cabana (Mayan style) on your property. This is approx 24x24’ Cohune
Palm thatched hut, with a simple bathroom. It can be used by you or for your
caretaker. It can be expanded on and lived in as your full time residence if
you’d like or used as a vacation getaway vacation home.
The maintenance of the plantation for the first three years. We hire local Kek Chi Mayan Indian farmers. They have been farming since before recorded time, and their knowledge of the area, the crops and trees is astounding. We have personally been working with these farmers for many, many years and have found no one else that is their equal when it comes to farming.
After the first three years, you can take over all of the management and care, (it’s your plantation, corporation and land), or for $2500. USD per year afterwards we’ll maintain it, trim, prune, bushhog, fertilize and check out the property every month. For an additional $2500. per year, we’ll hire a Belizean to live full time on your property as a caretaker. We can also build more cabana’s, additions, houses, garages, or sheds if you like for additional fees. Contact us for more details on any of these options.
We will clear your land after the closing and plant approximately four thousand seedlings.
During the first three years Jabiru Bamboo Limited will continually monitor the condition of all the trees. If trees are deemed to be unacceptable they will be removed and if necessary, be replanted.
(At the end of the three years you will be offered the opportunity for at a nominal fee of $2,500. per year for continual maintenance of your trees. If you don't want this option, then you can take full control of your teak plantation and do with it what ever you wish.)
Around the tenth year a substantial amount of the plantation will need to be thinned. At this time a monetary return can be expected.
As the continual harvesting of the trees takes place in the following years a decision as to the amount of trees removed will need to be decided . At the following harvestable intervals it will be up to you, the individual property owner to decide at what point you want to harvest so you can make the maximum return on your investment.

The closing can be performed via mail or in person in Belize. A $40,000. deposit is required at which time the processing of the paperwork with the government (issuing title search, stamp duty fee and sales tax) will get started. The balance due will upon the closing, normally within thirty to sixty days.
