Since
PPCA will be buying food in bulk for our feeding program,
PPCA will make available to the community some food items at
lower prices than they can buy at the local stores. Staples such as
Rice, Flour and Beans will be some of the food items that
PPCA will sell for 25%-30% above
its cost. PPCA buys its food supplies from the same wholesalers
as the local grocery stores around Punta Gorda (who then mark it up
additional 100-300%). PPCA will quickly gain many families who
will be repeat customers. Whenever possible, PPCA will give out
free food supplies for families in need. This is a much needed service
for the community.
